Hi everyone Chi Chi Pekingese here with the latest from the Two Cat Kitchen! We recently embarked (or should I say emmeowed) on our second season, and we’re very excited to be able to bring you more great episodes featuring lots of fantastic musical guests, new recipes, and of course our patented informative segments. And we’re mixing things up a bit right off the bat- our first episode out of the gate is a themed show that focuses on all things meatloaf- the artist and the food! The episode includes a tasty vegan meatloaf recipe and our house band The Coconotes doing their version of the epic Meat Loaf song Paradise by the Dashboard Light. Our friend Dewni Weerakkody joins the Coconotes on vocals and really makes the song come alive! Dewni is a multi-talented actress and singer who we hope will become a frequent contributor, so keep an ear out for her on future shows. Rounding out the episode is, I must say, the highlight of the show- yours truly presenting another of my inspirational and informative expositions on the life and times of the artist known as Meat Loaf (aka Michael Lee Aday). I’m sure you’ll enjoy this enlightening segment!
Meanwhile we have lots more in the works for season 2- soon to be released at the time of this writing is an episode featuring the Davis family with their take on great old-time and traditional songs. They also reveal some of the deepest secrets of scones, exclusive stuff and you’ll hear it first here on the Two Cat Kitchen! We’ve got episodes in the works that will feature fantastic guests including guitarist Mike Iula, actress, singer, and humorist Susie Chakmakian, and many more. We’re also working on plans for an episode looking at some of the early greats of country music, and- not to be missed- the world premiere of Bad Kitties! It’s a song. About cats. So all in all it’s shaping up to be another exciting season here at the Two Cat Kitchen- be sure to check out our new episodes, available at the end of each month.
